The Duchess of Cambridge looked ready for the festive season today (Dec 4), stepping out in a chic tartan skirt at a Christmas party she hosted with her husband the Duke of Cambridge.

William and Kate hosted the festive gathering at Kensington Palace for families of deployed military personnel serving in Cyprus.

Kate showed us how to work the tartan trend in a statement midi skirt from one of her favourite designers Emilia Wickstead.
