The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the Tusk Conservation Awards in London on Thursday night in support of the charity for which William is a patron.
For the occasion, Kate opted to wear an elegant teal Jenny Packham gown - which royal watchers might have recognised.
As she so often does, the duchess had opted to recycle an old favourite; she first wore the bespoke dress to a reception at the Royal Albert Hall in 2012 to mark the run-up to the Olympic Games in London.
The beautiful dress, which was custom-made for the royal by the designer, features a silky blue-green underskirt with a sheer layer over the top, and a beautiful cut-away lace back. While in 2012, Kate opted for a plaited updo for the first outing of the dress (allowing the back of the dress to really stand out), last night she paired it with her signature soft waves.
It seems as though she kept her accessories the same, with a matching teal clutch and metallic silver sandals.
In times where we're being encouraged to think and shop less wastefully, we could all do with taking inspiration from the royal; she's the perfect example that a beautiful dress need not be worn just once.
