Karma Cola

Liquid, Product, Bottle, Drinkware, Drink, Bottle cap, Glass bottle, Logo, Label, Packaging and labeling,
Unlike the mass cola brands, who have substituted the cola nut for artificial flavouring - phosphoric acid now helps to create the bitterness and caramel the colour, Karma Cola uses the real thing; it also contains fairtrade organic sugar and vanilla, organic malt extract and lemon concentrate.

We admit it’s not as fizzy as the original but it has more flavour, doesn’t contain as much sugar and is sold in beautiful bottles.

Also try Gingerella Ginger Ale and Lemmy lemonade.

Available at theyellowsofa.co.uk and in various coffee shops and independent traders.

Fair Squared Cosmetics

Product, Green, White, Beauty, Aqua, Liquid, Azure, Turquoise, Teal, Brand,
Buttery lip balms and light-as-air moisturisers are all the better for being pumped full of fairtrade oils. Fair Squared products are made with fairly traded olive oil from Palestine, all of the olives are harvested by hand and produced by a co-operative that works with 1700 small farmers.

We love the silky smooth vanilla lip balm, which glides on easily but moisturises deeply. The BB cream is available in light and medium skin tones. Facial cream, sun cream and after sun products also available.

Buy at fair2.me and Oxfam stores nationwide.

Mosami UK

White, Fashion accessory, Jewellery, Font, Ring, Natural material, Metal, Mineral, Silver, Body jewelry,
There are plenty of ethical and charitable organisations selling jewellery to support overseas initiatives but now you can buy certified fairtrade precious metals too  - more than 150 UK companies are registered to sell Fairtrade gold and Silver by the Fairtrade foundation. Mosami UK's silver cuff, pictured, costs £125.

Go to fairgold.org to find a list of UK suppliers. The Fairtrade Foundation's 'I Do'  webpage encourages grooms and brides-to-be to buy their wedding rings from a Fairtrade jeweller.

One Water

Liquid, Blue, Drinkware, Fluid, Product, Bottle, Water bottle, Plastic bottle, Aqua, Logo,
Not a Fair Trade product but we still think this deserves a mention: One Water is 100% British (it’s bottled in Wales) but all the profits are donated to water projects in Africa. Now that’s a doubly refreshing drink. Find it on Watrose shelves.
