When they arrive, they’re good to show off straightaway too, as most letterbox Christmas trees come with lights, decorations and a pop-up pot that are all the perfect size for each tree’s tiny structure. Drawing on our Good Housekeeping Institute testing, we turned to the online florists we trust for letterbox bouquets, hand-tied arrangements and even plants. All the ones below with the GHI Approved logo are flower delivery services that our experts have tested and loved.
Then, our homes editor picked the ones she would send to her friends and family. You’ll see a few from Bloom & Wild – that’s because it's one of the first to release its letterbox Christmas trees for 2024 and we're obsessed with its range of designs (particularly the Christmas Dinner Tree; the tiny turkey is inspired).

Serenata was our highest performing letterbox flower company, scoring a whopping 96/100 – so your future tree is in good hands. It’s a simple design, but you can’t beat a classic fairy light look, can you?

Okay, there were about five different Bloom & Wild trees we wanted to include, but we narrowed it down slightly (sorry, Classic Tiny Tree and the Jingle Bell Tree – we still love you, there just wasn’t space!).
This quirky Christmas dinner design though, is by far and away our favourite; the tiny felt decorations (which include a turkey, a mince pie and a paper hat topper) are whimsical perfection.

If you prefer your food on your plate, then maybe we can tempt you with this equally cute, but more wintery design. Yes, that is a scarf and a hat you see the tree wearing. This tree is ready for any sudden drops in temperature. The snow balls and men are a nice touch too – given a white Christmas is unlikely, this might be the next best thing.

Our last pick from Bloom and Wild, this one is for the plant lovers in your life, as once Christmas has been and gone, they can plant it and enjoy the holly bush for many festive seasons to come. Talk about a gift that keeps on giving. The pop-up jute pot and tartan bow look cute too.

Fresh and festive with its dried orange slice decorations and bronze ribbon, this is an elegant design that we can see fitting into any home. It’s about 70cm tall, you’ll have to pop the decorations on yourself and it arrives in a basket, so not through the letterbox – but we think it’s a delivery well worth staying in for.

It’s not entirely clear what sort of packaging this tree will arrive in (or if it will fit through the door), but it’s tiny and delightful with a classic star on top and gold and red baubles. Timeless.

This wins our title of ‘classiest pots’ – choose between a pared back ceramic design and a charming glazed one. Of course this won’t be letterbox-friendly, but the tree itself is still small, so won’t take up too much room once in situ. And as it doesn’t come with decorations, you can style it however you want – whether that’s adding some fairy lights or letting its natural beauty shine.
