Back in 1996 Laura Mercier introduced us to the wonderful world of primers, since then we've also become devotees to the brand's ultra-fine setting powder while the tinted moisturiser is an instant shortcut to glowing, radiant skin. But the brand has never had ventured into skincare,, until now.
As a makeup artist who has worked with celebrities, models and most of Hollywood's A-list, Laura knows a thing or two about creating a flawless canvas. "After years of witnessing the lack of care model’s skin endures on set, I wanted to create a skincare collection that would nourish and bring the skin back to health,” she said.
The ten-piece skincare range contains all the basics, from cleanser to eye cream and moisturisers which work with different skin types. All of the products contain rose water, starflower seed oil and French spring sea water, which help to soothe and hydrate the skin.

Laura Mercier Nourishing Rose Oil
Laura used to create her own rose-oil blend which she used backstage to treat models skin in an effort to counter the damaging effects caused by stress and dehydration. This elevated formula still uses soothing rose oil but combines it with a rich omega fatty acid to help deeply nourish and plump the complexion.
When it comes to wearing red lipstick (or any bold shade) you need to make sure your lips are fully prepped. This balm adds hydration but doesn't leave any stickiness which could cause your lipstick to slide off. It's packed full squalene (derived from Olives) which adds a boost of hydration to lips.
"For Laura, it’s always been important that eye cream is not only ultra-hydrating and comforting, but also sets quickly for a flawless concealer application," says Kelley Giffin, Executive Director of Product Development at Laura Mercier. The cleanser
A good cleanser is the cornerstone of great skin, and this gentle but through formula removes makeup and dirt without stripping away moisture. Unlike many foaming cleansers, this cleanser doesn't contain any dehydrating sulphates but instead uses plant surfactants to create a soft, creamy lather.
A skincare staple, this eye makeup remover is a cornflower infused bi-phase formula, which means it contains both oil and water. It gently whisks away stubborn mascara - or even long lasting lipstick - in seconds without any tugging.
