Possibly the most iconic Estée Lauder product of all time – and for good reason. Advanced Night Repair (fondly known as ANR by beauty obsessives) works overtime to brighten and hydrate using powerhouse ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, squalane and antioxidants.

In recent years, it’s been upgraded to work even better with the addition of adansonia digitata seed extract. This boosts a key signalling molecule involved in the skin’s natural repair process, aiding fresh collagen formation. And we didn’t think we could love it any more.

One of the most brilliant makeup/skincare hybrids we’ve ever found. The glowy, featherlight formula smooths over fatigue and makes skin both look and feel healthier. That’s thanks to a stack of goodies built into the buildable coverage, including probiotics, a chia seed extract, hydrating ion-charged water complex and SPF45 to shore up your daily sunscreen. It’s radiance in a tube.

This luscious, cocooning night cream is a lovely new sister to the ANR and it’s worthy of that iconic name. Rich without being claggy, the formula melts in beautifully and feels like a real treat for tired, dehydrated skin at the end of a long day. You’ll be even happier when you wake up to smoother, softer, brighter skin in the morning.

In the beauty world, summer hasn’t started until the arrival of the annual limited-edition version of Bronze Goddess – this coconut-laced scent is a holiday in a bottle. However, since we’re all impatient for our fix of sunshine, Lauder has decided to give us a year-round version of its iconic Vitamin D perfume, and it’s as joyous as an impromptu winter getaway to the Caribbean.

Skincare meets makeup in this clever hydrating primer. Ideal for a drier skin type, makeup sits more comfortably with a layer of this underneath.

Glycerine and two types of hyaluronic acid infuse skin with moisture, preventing your base from clinging to any dry patches on the skin and ensuring a more comfortable, even-looking finish. A worthwhile investment, we’d say.

Double Wear needs little introduction – it became an instant classic when it debuted in 1997 and continues to scoop awards today. It’s a winner in the GHI’s testing and it’s also loved by the GH team, who agreed it really scores for staying power without feeling or looking heavy. The coverage is full but buildable, and it blends effortlessly to a velvety finish that’s matte but never flat.

We’re big fans of both the day and night version of Lauder’s Supreme+ cream. While we’ve yet to find a facelift in a jar, we do think that this formula makes skin a bit firmer, as well as generally more perky.

It’s difficult not to feel romantic when you’re swathed in a cloud of magnolia petals, gardenia and rose. If this all sounds a little too floral and floaty for your taste, fear not – base notes of cedarwood and musk add warmth and richness.
