NARS Powermatte Lipstick

If there were ever a product to solidify this brand's status as masters of the matte texture, this is it. A good matte lipstick has opaque colour, lasts the day, and, somehow, doesn't look flat. Powermatte ticks all of those boxes. Naturally, matte lipsticks tend to veer on the drier end of the spectrum, but these are one of the most comfortable and easy to wear matte textures we've encountered. The shade range is also dreamy, from the punchiest orange reds to rosy pinks, like Tease Me, pictured here.
NARS Light Reflecting Foundation
Everything about this foundation feels sophisticated, from the luminous, skincare-first formula to the weighty glass bottle. This has a medium coverage that conceals discolouration and blemishes in a way that looks really natural (which is no mean feat), and also gives a pretty, glow-boosting finish. Too many glow-giving foundations look too sheeny and false; there is alchemy here in that it manages to lend radiance without even hint of glitter, glimmer or sparkle.

NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser SPF30
Credit: Boots
Perhaps one of the most iconic tinted moisturisers on the market. It has more 'tint' than most hybrid products we know, and manages to conceal mild redness and blemishes in a really natural looking way. It's the finish on the skin we're most fond of, though; it's gently luminous and so hydrating. It's a modern classic.

NARS Matte Bronzing Powder

We're the first to admit that bronzer can be tricky business. NARS, though, are making it easier than you'll ever know. There are three shades in the range (including the iconic Laguna), which strike the perfect balance between warm and cool (read: you won't look orange or grey). It's beautifully matte so you won't be left with any unflattering shimmer; just a really gentle warmth, that is so easy to apply and blend.
NARS Air Matte Lip Colour

This is a lightweight, matte, mousse-like texture melts into the lips, but doesn't look one dimensional. GH's very own senior beauty editor Alex Friend is besotted with the shade Total Domination (pictured here).
"Bare skin with a bold red lip always looks fresh for the brighter months," says senior beauty editor Alex Friend. 'This is long-wearing and comfortable. NARS makes some of the best reds around."

NARS Air Matte Blush

Soft as cloud and weightless on skin, these mousse-like blushers are created for the blush-averse. Despite appearing bright in the pots, they look so sheer, and create a natural, diffused effect on cheeks. The good news is that the cream texture couldn't be easier to apply: use your ring finger to dab across the higher part of the cheekbone and watch it melt into skin.
NARS Climax Mascara

Beauty Director Eve Cameron calls the original Climax mascara her "go-to mascara for glossy, lengthened lashes".
The full, bristled brush delivers intense black pigment without any unwanted smudging or clumping, even when applied in generous layers. One to pop on just before Zoom calls to add some gentle definition to the eyes.

NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer
Senior beauty editor Alex knows a thing or two about concealers.
"This is the perfect concealer, and I say that as someone who has tried them all," she says."It’s a soft and bouncy putty that melds beautifully into the skin and covers everything from dark circles to blemishes, though I use it most to disguise red marks and murky shadows caused by uneven pigmentation."
This full-coverage concealer is helpful for covering large areas without looking caked on. Alex's top tip? Warm it up in your fingertips first for the most invisible effect.
NARS The Multiple

Universal colour sticks are one of the most hardworking products you could put in your makeup bag. Just with fingertips, you can apply this to eyelids, cheeks and lips. It blends beautifully and the shimmer shows up as 'glow' rather than 'glitter', which makes you look just a little bit healthier, brighter, better. It comes in the cult shade 'Orgasm', which - as far as blusher shades go - is one of the most flattering we've found.

NARS Soft Matte Complete Foundation

We know NARS do tinted moisturisers well, but this foundation proves how they can also nail bases with a fuller coverage.
Despite the matte finish and fuller coverage, this feels comfortable to wear, and the smallest amount covers everything from pigmentation to scarring. It works best on top of light moisturisers and sunscreens, or a silky silicone primer. Oily skin types will love the shine-free finish, especially.
