You can take the girl out of the ballroom, but you can’t take the ballroom out of the girl. Nadiya Bychkova seems just as eager for Strictly Come Dancing to return as we are, if her latest red carpet look is anything to go by.
The Strictly professional dancer, who’s already confirmed for the 2025 lineup, shone brighter than the glitterball trophy as she swept into last night’s TRIC Awards sporting full Blackpool glam, her lips painted a gleaming pillarbox red.
Proving that the old ‘lips or eyes’ rule doesn’t apply to the Strictly aesthetic, Nadiya paired her Hollywood lips with a sultry smokey eye. Her MUA has cleverly kept the feline flick super soft and the lashes subtle, steering clear of over-the-top falsies to ensure the overall look didn’t stray into stage-paint territory.
Extra points go to the delicate dusting of shimmery champagne highlighter in the inner corners of Nadiya’s eyes; it’s an oldie but a goodie for making eyes sparkle. The subtle shimmer not only brightened her gaze but also added to her overall luminous glow.
Nadiya’s hair was another nod to the Strictly vibe. Worn in a high ponytail, it’s exactly the high-glamour style we’re used to seeing when she’s twirling around the dancefloor. And because no Strictly ’do is complete without a lacquered embellishment, Nadiya finished the look with a statement, super-styled piece of hair at the front. We can almost smell the Elnett from here – and we mean that in the best way possible.
And, of course, no Strictly look would be complete without the tan. Nadiya’s top-to-toe glow could have come straight from the legendary Strictly tanning booth and is so immaculate that even Craig Revel Horwood would be hard-pressed to find fault. Perfectly timed for summer.
