Looks like Pamela Anderson is continuing her flip through the ‘vintage Hollywood beauty’ playbook. Having leaned into the classic Marilyn Monroe era for inspiration last month, the actress has switched her attention to another 50s Tinseltown icon for her latest image makeover.
Pammy arrived at the London premiere of The Naked Gun with a new (old) hair look that brings to mind a young Grace Kelly. Her blonde hair, worn at jaw length, was swept off her face into a vintage Hollywood style. She kept it full at the roots, with soft curls gathered at the ends for a true starlet feel.
Her gradual retreat from the no-makeup era continued, too. Her red carpet complexion was subtly enhanced with what looks like a sheer skin tint, paired with soft-rose accents washed across her cheeks, lips and lids. Add in the merest whisper of mascara, and that’s all it takes to complete Pammy v3.0.
Her deep purple bandeau dress had a simple, vintage shape, and she happily played up the Hollywood starlet image by cuddling up with her leading man, Liam Neeson.
Fans have been rooting for a romance between the pair, who definitely seem to have great chemistry together, although sadly it sounds more wishful thinking than anything. For her part, Pamela has simply said: 'I think I have a friend forever in Liam. And we definitely have a connection that is very sincere, very loving, and he's a good guy.’ So that’s… a maybe??
Anyway, back to Pam's beauty. It’s a vintage look all round, and one that fits beautifully with Pamela’s ongoing reinvention. Her Naked Gun poster girl look has more than a hint of Veronica Lake, thanks to her cascade of pin curls and glossy scarlet lips.
Last week, we saw Pamela opting for a flipped up bob, with a silhouette that’s simultaneously retro and modern. This sort of shape has flipped the bevelled bob trend around, with hair trendspotter Tom Smith dubbing it the ‘bell bottom bob’ and praising its fun, retro shape.
And unlike many retro styles, which require expertise and hours spent studying TikTok tutorials, the 50s flippy bob is a cinch to do. A little heat spray and a jumbo round hot brush wrapped around the ends, and you’re done.
It’s already been adopted by everyone from Halle Berry and Carey Mulligan, but Pammy’s version is our favourite yet, with extra retro points awarded for the angular sunglasses.
Then of course, there’s her recent Marilyn Monroe makeover, with blonde bombshell volume galore.
Pamela looked sensational, having switched up her angular Met Gala box bob for something softer and curvier, and embarking upon a brand new era of iconic beauty.

HOW TO GET PAM’S ‘GRACE KELLY’ HAIR
The beauty team at GH are obsessed with Pamela Anderson, and if you’re anything like us, you’ll want to recreate her look—after all, vintage glamour never goes out of style. Luckily, we have expert insight: OSMO hairdresser and Ambassador Becky Sutherland has shared how to nail this look.
‘It’s amazing to see Pam channelling such an iconic look while making it her own. There's something so special about embracing vintage glam,’ says Becky, ‘What I really love is how she takes 'the Grace' and gives it a modern twist. Those soft waves with a bit of tousle? Perfect! It feels fresh and fun, while still paying homage to the elegance of Grace.’
So, how exactly do you replicate those gorgeous, vintage waves?: ‘Here’s what to do: Start with clean, dry hair and add some volumising mousse – I’d recommend OSMO’s Styling Mousse. It gives your hair that lift without weighing it down. Then, use a curling wand to create loose waves and just run your fingers through them to keep it effortless’ Becky reveals.
‘To keep everything in place, you definitely need a light hold hairspray. OSMO’s Super Hold Hairspray is great for keeping the style intact without feeling crunchy.’
Now, we’re off to try and create our own Hollywood waves à la Pam!
