Helen George delighted fans by revealing her new dark hair transformation at the Olivier Awards on Sunday, 2 April.
The star, who revealed she'd swapped her signature bleach blonde hair for a darker style back in January, showed off her stunning new look at the awards ceremony. Posing outside The Royal Albert Hall, where the Olivier Awards take place, Helen looked beautiful as she wore her dark tresses in a waved style.
To complement her hair transformation, Helen opted for a fashion choice that was just as gorgeous as her new hair. The star wore a sequin gown and looked the very picture of elegance. The gown boasted a nude/pink colour adorned with sparkling sequins — and also took advantage of a tie-front, cut-out neckline which added a seductive twist to her classic look. For her makeup, she opted for a smokey eye, bold brow and nude lip.
Helen surprised fans earlier in the year when she revealed she'd swapped her blonde hair for a darker look. The Call the Midwife star, who is known for playing beloved character Nurse Trixie, was previously recognisable by her bleach blonde hair — which is often styled in 1950s/1960s looks for her time on the show. However, the star took to Instagram recently to reveal a new hairstyle — and she looks absolutely fantastic.
Fans and celebrities alike were quick to comment on how much they love Helen's new look. Commenting on her hair transformation, actress Catherine Tyldesley said "Sooooooo there for this look!" while actress Tamzin Outhwaite simply commented "❤️🔥."
