Whether you’re into full-on sparkles or just love using a bit of glittery nail polish as an accent, you’ll know how hard the stuff is to remove.
We’ve spent up to 10 minutes scrubbing away with cotton wool – and there are still bits of glitz left behind! Trouble is, you then start picking it off, which is a Very Bad Thing for nails, as it causes damage to the surface.
But here’s the solution: use your tights. Yes, you read it right.
Chop up an old pair of tights, soak strips in nail polish remover and sweep them firmly down your nails. A couple of wipes and it should all come off!
An unscientific office test revealed opaque tights did the job better than sheer – genius!
