Whether she's posting on Instagram about a new show or giving us the lowdown on her incredible fitness regime, we can never quite get over how Davina McCall always looks like she's drank a pint of liquid sunshine.

Thankfully for us, the star has revealed how she maintains a head to toe glow without staying in the sun all day. And her timing couldn't be better, because while September has well and truly landed, it seems the sunshine (and therefore our linen shirts and summer dresses) isn't going anywhere.

So, if your holiday glow is long gone, fear not because the presenter of new show, My Mum Your Dad (out 15th September), uploaded a video last month in partnership, naming all the products she uses for a year-round healthy tan.

In the video, Davina is seen unpacking her suitcase before revealing that her favourite travel essential is none other than Garnier's Summer Body Tan Lotion, which is currently over half price.

She tells her followers that the number one thing is to "protect your skin" and that "there are hacks that let you still get a bit of sun but more of a tan".

This "hero" product is used on her holiday as "a moisturiser on [her] legs and it literally upscales the tan". Making us jealous yet again, Davina then shows off her tanned legs that she's topped up with the lotion.

If you're willing to try it, you can expect a streak-free, moisturising formula that's easy to apply and comes in either a light or deeper shade. Enriched with apricot oil, it is set to leave your skin feeling very soft and hydrated. As for the glow, there's a hint of tanning active in the bottle to make it look like you've just come back from the beach (or to top up your current tan).

Important details: this is a gradual tan, so apply it more often if you're after a deeper colour (the reviews say it "never goes patchy"). It is fast-absorbing so there is no need to endlessly rub it into your skin with a tanning mitt.

Do of course wash your hands after application to prevent "oompa loompa hands". We've all been there. Oh and hold off getting changed for a few minutes to prevent staining your clothes.

To get the ultimate tan to carry into autumn, Davina praises other products in the video such as the Garnier Natural Bronzer Self-Tan Face Drops (£9.69) to mix with your moisturisers.
