While posting with afro-textured hair shouldn't still be a statement, it often is, especially when seen on a star we've never or rarely seen it on before, or when worn in un-polished casual styles. But what makes Halle's a statement, is the caption.
The actor shared a hazy, glowing, make-up-free selfie to her Instagram wearing a full and fluffy afro and wrote to fans and followers: "Sunday serve…my man loves this. Forward all complaints to him."
She looks breathtaking, and the way the sun is hitting her? It's a really different look when we're used to seeing her with long straight tresses or cropped short styles.
The first Black Bond girl, the first (and to this day, the only) Black winner of the best actress Oscar, Halle is always going to be a beauty icon to the Black community. Given her hair is currently cropped and bleached, it's safe to say this is a wig, but we're still so here for this gorgeous sexy afro visibility on social media.
