Jessica Chastain revealed a stunning hair transformation at the Met Gala on Monday, 1 May.
The 46-year-old actress took to the red carpet alongside a whole host of stars — where she revealed her latest look. Posing for the camera, the star revealed a beautiful and dramatic hair transformation — swapping her recognised auburn locks for a platinum blonde look.
Jessica wore her new hair with a slight wave to it — also debuting plenty of length as her hair fell to mid-way down her back. Needless to say, she paired her new hair with a stunning gown. The design, which is by Gucci, features a whole range of show-stopping features. Consisting of a chic monochrome look in all black, the gown featured an elegant strapless neckline, chiffon and velvet composition and plenty of billowing fabric to form a voluminous, tiered skirt. Jessica opted to accessorise with mesh gloves and silver jewellery — further adding to her dramatic look.
In addition to being photographed at the gala itself — Jessica also took to Instagram to give fans a glimpse at her stunning look. She shared a video of herself looking oh-so-cool as she put on sunglasses, perfectly completing her look.
The theme for this year's Met Gala was Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty. The gala aimed to honour Lagerfeld, who died in 2019 and was Chanel's long-time creative director. Taking to the red carpet, celebrities paid homage to the theme in a multitude of ways, with many opting for dramatic monochrome looks.
