Yankee Candle's fourth scent of the year, Inspire, has been unveiled and aims to 'inspire' us to celebrate the joy in everyday moments. Described as uplifting and radiant, its development was heavily influenced by concept of Ikigai, the Japanese philosophy of living a long, happy life.
"Ikigai guides you to find your passions and reason for being, with its ten rules of happiness including; ‘take it slow and live in the moment’, ‘reconnect with nature’, and ‘give thanks’", explains Anna Whitton, VP of Marketing at Yankee Candle.
Available for a limited period in the Yankee Original large jar size, Inspire features top notes of rainforest lime, ginger and verbena; mid notes of bamboo, freesia and ocean breeze accord; base notes of cedar, seaside driftwood and sun musks; lemon and orange essential oils.
Combining refreshing and energising citrus, lively greens and an invigorating sea breeze, the scent brings those natural moments that bring you joy, into your home. And we all know what a huge impact scent can have in creating an energy nurturing environment in your home.
Whitton said; "Over the past year, across the globe, we have all taken a step back and truly reflected on our everyday. This year the 2022 Scent of the Year, Inspire, has been designed to help people feel inspired and embrace this philosophy in their everyday."
