We called and Glossier has answered. After months of social-media requests, the brand has announced in a press release that it's finally launching a candle version of its signature You fragrance – and we predict it'll be swiftly added to the brand's long (long) list of sell-out successes.
The Glossier You candle will be available as part of a limited-edition More Of You kit that will land on the site later this month – just in time for Mother's Day. The set will feature a full-size bottle of the brand’s best-selling You fragrance as well as, for the first time ever, the much-requested matching scented candle.
Since its launch 10 years ago, Glossier has been known to always deliver on its fuss-free (yet highly effective) ethos. The candle replicates the much-adored smell of the Glossier You perfume that adapts to your natural pheromones, creating a comforting fragrance that smells like you, only better.
Like the scent, the candle features top notes of pink pepper and iris, underpinned by musky notes of ambrette and ambrox. The result is a subtle and powdery scent that is adored the world over.
The candle is vegan-friendly and made with a natural soy and coconut wax blend – no cheap filler paraffin here. The glass packaging also lives up to what we have come to expect from Glossier; chic, sleek and sustainable.
This latest launch comes after numerous requests from the brand’s loyal fans who love the You fragrance and yearned for it in candle form. At the start of this year, Glossier relaunched its You Solid perfume – also at the behest of its customers – proving this is a brand that really listens to its clientele.

This isn't the first candle launch from the popular beauty brand. At the end of 2021, Glossier released The Bath Duo which featured Orange Blossom Neroli-scented bath pods and a matching candle - made from a blend of soy and coconut wax with notes of Neroli, Pear and Cypress. So refreshing.
