You've probably heard all about the wondrous, hydrating power of hyaluronic acid in skincare, so understandably people were excited when beauty brand By Terry announced the new Hyaluronic Hydra-Balm Lipstick was being added to the brand's popular hyaluronic makeup line.
The brand credit the hyaluronic acid in the formula for a 'moisture injection,' promising fuller looking lips that are healthy, hydrated and protected. The buildable balm also promises to give a sophisticated 'no-makeup makeup' finish, using crystal colour micro-pigments for a plumping wash of soft, even colour. But does it deliver?

Our Senior Beauty Editor Alexandra Friend tried it ahead of its release and wasn't disappointed. She described the lipstick/balm hybrid as; "The perfect nude lip colour with ultra-conditioning properties."
Praising the product for delivering on both objectives, she continued: "It has the plush and slightly tacky feel of a really good balm, with the creamy-looking pigment of an excellent lipstick. It comes in 6 lip-like shades and smells of roses. Such a treat."
