Imogen Cooper
Craft Editor
Imogen is the Craft Editor of Prima, overseeing all things making, mending and creating online and in the magazine, coming up with ideas for dozens of easy craft projects, as well as knitting and crochet patterns.
She’s always on the lookout for fun new crafts guaranteed to inspire, as well as beautiful knitting, sewing and felting projects to share with Prima readers.
Imogen is particularly interested in yarn crafts, so she can help decode even the most challenging knitting pattern, or provide inspiration on a new crochet stitch to try. As well as creating beginners’ guides to new crafts, developing on-trend knitting and crochet patterns and sharing the latest celebrity craft ideas, she has worked on a series of crochet videos for basic stitches to learn.
Imogen studied journalism at City, University of London and started out working on a national newspaper, before she moved over to Prima and the world of craft!
Imogen especially loves working on crochet projects for her home and wardrobe – including crochet vests and cushions. She’s currently working on her dressmaking skills and working on a capsule wardrobe of easy and wearable pieces.
When she’s not writing about all things craft, Imogen loves going for a morning run along the River Thames, as well as seeing the latest show on the West End with friends.
Imogen would love to hear what you’re making at the moment – drop her an email on imogen.cooper@hearst.co.uk.
