Guess what Sherri Shepherd fans? It looks like her reign on daytime television isn't over just yet.
The TV personality has been the host of her own talk show Sherri for 3 seasons, and fans have flocked to watch it on weekdays ever since it premiered on Fox in September 2022. Well, it looks like viewers will have more chances to see Sherri talk about pop culture and other hot topics, as it was announced on March 20 that Sherri would return for season 4 in the fall of 2025. What's more, Sherri went on Instagram to thank her viewers for standing by her as she continues on this exciting TV venture.
"Thank you family for the support!" she excitedly wrote in the caption shortly after she revealed the news on Sherri. "Season 4 of SHERRI now officially loading ... "
Upon hearing Sherri's exciting news, fans couldn't hold back their excitement on social media.
"Congratulations Sherri!!!! Amazing!" one person wrote in the comments. "YASSSSSSS LETS GOOOOO 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥," another exclaimed. "Congratulations to the entire team 🌹," a different follower added.
Well, this is quite a nice way to usher in a new era! As fans may remember, this isn't Sherri's first time starring on television. She initially built a career as an actress on a plethora of sitcoms, before making her way to co-hosting The View beginning in 2007. She eventually left the TV program in 2014, but continued to make appearances on the show through 2016.
As for how Sherri is feeling about her daytime talk show getting renewed for another season, she expressed how much the experience means to her.
"I don’t take it for granted that people welcome me into their homes daily," she said in a statement, per Deadline. "I work so hard to bring escapism to viewers’ lives through joy, laughter and inspiration, and I’m grateful that the audience has embraced what we do. I look forward to raising the bar and turning up the volume as we plan for our season four return."
