The indoor-outdoor spa at The Breakers Palm Beach, just north of Miami, is every bit as divine as the Italian Renaissance-style property itself. Signature Service: At this resort known for romance, the three options for Couples Rituals are popular picks. "One of the resort's glass-walled atriums [shown] serves as a special room for the treatment," said our editor. In the Couples Escape, for instance, you and your boo start with a Japanese bath, followed by a full-body classic or deep tissue massage. You'll top it off with a beverage to celebrate your relationship. Our editor added, "No matter which service you choose from the extensive menu, you can use the outdoor sauna, located on a koi pond."
The Lodge at Woodloch, Hawley, Pennsylvania
Within driving distance from New York City and the DC area, this adult-only Pocono Mountain escape (the sister property of Good Housekeeping 2024 Family Travel Award winner Woodloch Pines) recently debuted a new spa menu, which includes Ayurveda treatments such as a hot oil massage and blissful detox. The Lodge at Woodloch's 40,000 square-foot indoor-outdoor space houses 27 treatment rooms, multiple whirlpools, a Himalayan salt sauna and even a 'snow room" with actual snow. "While my daughter cooled off in the snow room after the sauna, I was blissfully lounging outside in the serene woodland area," said a Good Housekeeping editor who visited recently. Because this destination spa is all-inclusive, meals, workshops and other activities are built into the nightly rate. You can also select a package that includes a daily spa credit.
Signature Service: Inspired by herbal healing properties, Rosemary Awakening begins with a stimulating body polish of rosemary and mint to cleanse and detoxify, and is followed by a full-body Swedish massage with hydrating shea butter and healing essential oils to ease sore muscles. The West Hollywood EDITION, West Hollywood, California
This luxury hotel's minimalist design carries over to its award-winning spa. Focusing on wellness and mindfulness, the spa at the West Hollywood EDITION includes a spiritual meditation space with treatments such as a sound bath and LED-light therapy in addition to massages, facials and body treatments. It's truly a sanctuary on LA's Sunset Strip. With jaw-dropping mountain views, the restorative Royal Palms Resort and Spa, part of the Unbound Collection by Hyatt, especially appeals to history buffs. Originally constructed as a mansion over a century ago, the property now has 119 rooms — many with historical touches like stone floors — plus the Mediterranean-inspired Alvadora Spa.

Goldener Hirsch, Auberge Resort Collection, Park City, Utah
If you're on the hunt for physical rejuvenation beyond just spa treatments, Goldener Hirsch is just the ticket. Hop on the nearby chairlift to be whisked to Deer Valley, one of the best ski resorts in the country, then return from your runs to soak in an infinity hot tub with stunning mountain views or meditate in the Zen garden. An exquisite property that feels like its own little oasis, Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa appeals to guests of all ages. A Good Housekeeping staffer who recently visited with her spouse and daughter appreciated the kids' activities, well-equipped fitness center and standout restaurants. The spa, in particular, was a favorite. "The spa was outrageously amazing," she said. "I had the best massage." She added, "They have these beautiful gardens in the spa and amazing amenities. I wish I had planned to spend more time at the spa. I would suggest going early to enjoy most of your day there." The icing on the cake: You can even have your treatment in a private garden villa.
