Whether you're planning to make the switch from a real to fake tree this year (or if you noticed yours was worse for wear last year), several brands are hosting Christmas in July tree sales that allow you to save up to 52% on artificial trees, including several Good Housekeeping Institute-tested options. With only a few days left in July, though, the sales will disappear soon.

The real vs. fake Christmas tree debate runs deep, but the case for artificial is this: Although pricey, fake Christmas trees are often more convenient than real trees. Not only is the cost-per-use lower, but they're also fairly easy to set up and don't require watering.

Until the end of the month, trees in a variety of styles and price points are discounted from brands like Balsam Hill and King of Christmas. Even Amazon is getting in on the Christmas in July fun, with several top-tested picks marked down.
