This year, I delved back into our guides on top-tested Dyson vacuums, hair tools and air purifiers to see which favorites are worth shopping. My conclusion? Why we like it: GH Home Care and Cleaning Lab Executive Director Carolyn Forté tested the Dyson V15 Detect Plus and found it worth the splurge given the vacuum's innovative features. Why we like it: Although we haven't cleaned up Lab and home messes with this cordless vacuum, it features all the hallmarks we look for in a Dyson model. It has a lightweight design plus detangling technology and can even convert into a handheld vac.
What to know: "The Dyson V8 Plus has completely transformed the way I clean my home," shared one five-star reviewer. Another satisfied shopper wrote, "My house has three levels and I was able to deep clean my whole house, including vacuuming my furniture, and I still had two bars out of three on the battery."
Why we like it: This sleek fan has a slim design that can comfortably fit on a dresser or the floor. Plus, it features a built-in air purifier and heater so you can use it year-round.
What to know: We evaluated the HP07 when testing fans in the GH Institute Home Improvement Lab, but ultimately didn't include it in our main guide given the price tag. However, Prime Day Dyson deals make the price easier to swallow — it's currently 31% off.
