After all, my day-to-day is spent browsing the web for not only the best deals and unique items — but also those you should skip. Naturally, when I saw Amazon released a list of this year's top Mother's Day gift ideas, I immediately scrolled to see which products made the cut.

While plenty of big-ticket items — from Oura rings to Hatch alarm clocks and AirPods Max — are included in the Mother's Day shop, Amazon's list is also chock full of budget-friendly gift ideas (some of which are also Good Housekeeping Institute-tested picks). While we'd love to treat Mom to something luxe, it's always nice to find a gift that's equal parts meaningful and affordable, which is why we curated our faves from Amazon's Mother's Day storefront to 17 items under $100.
Asakuki Smart Wi-Fi Essential Oil Diffuser
Why we like it: Instead of gifting Mom a spa gift card, give her a diffuser that allows her to reap aromatherapy benefits whenever she wants. This Amazon best seller earned top nods from our Lab experts as the best pick for large spaces, noting that it "emitted a solid mist stream for hours after the others ran out of water."
What to know: This diffuser is WiFi-enabled and can be paired with your Amazon Alexa device to set up sleep timers, adjust the lighting or remotely control the mist mode.

Why we like it: Quirky kitchen gadgets, like this adorable tomato cooking timer, make for excellent Mother's Day gifts, as they're often little luxuries she wouldn't necessarily buy herself.
