As someone who spends every Sunday at the flea market eyeing out new antique pieces for my apartment, I'm thrilled that vintage decor is having a moment. One of my favorite ways to incorporate a vintage vibe into my space is with a gorgeously faded area rug with an eye-catching, intricate design — but sadly, those can be pricey.

All of Ruggable's options are completely machine washable — and after testing a number of washable rugs, the Good Housekeeping Institute named Ruggable's the best overall.
Each rug arrives in two pieces: a thin top layer and non-slip bottom layer. The top layer — which is available in seemingly endless amounts of designs and color options – can be secured to the bottom pad like "Velcro," according to our experts. That way, you can easily remove it and throw it in the washing machine when needed, come spills or muddy paw prints.
However, our experts recommend laundering these rugs "only when you absolutely have" to help maintain longevity (the GHI's Lab results concluded that the edges curl after washing).
Emma Seymour, the associate director of the Textiles, Paper & Apparel Lab, has a Ruggable rug at home and says she's "loved using a Ruggable rug as a runner in my railroad style apartment."
She continues, "It's comfortable to walk on and with the rug pad, stays perfectly in place. I've had it for over three years and it's still in great shape. I haven't machine washed it, but I vacuum it every few days. I'm a big fan of this chic design, too."
Since several Ruggable rugs are also available on Amazon, we cross-checked prices to make sure that the sale was worth the hype. And overall, it is. For the most part, Ruggable's sale beats Amazon's pricing, (the Jonathan Adler rug for instance, is $249 on Amazon versus Ruggable's discounted price for $224).
However, there are a few exceptions for certain sizes and styles. The 2' x 3' Kamryn Hazel rug for example, is cheaper on Amazon than Ruggable's current deal by $10. Of course, Amazon offers convenient shipping speeds, but you get access to Ruggable's full selection on their official site.
Whether you're looking for a vintage-esque area rug or decorative runner for the hallway, Ruggable has options. The brand's anniversary sale ends on Sunday night.
With that being said, it's safe to say I won't be looking for rugs at the flea market this weekend.
