Why we like it: The Apple Watch Series 10 is the newest model in the lineup — and according to the brand, it's the thinnest Apple Watch yet. The watch also tracks sleep, workouts and more, all thanks to the built-in Vitals app. Our experts in the Tech and Wellness Labs were impressed by the Apple Watch Series 9, which is a good sign for its latest successor.

What you should know: This version of the Apple Watch is less than $300 (the lowest price to date, per our research)— at more than a $100 discount.

Apple Watch Ultra with Midnight Ocean band

Why we like it: Those who want their watch to withstand the elements as they hike, swim, run and bike through the outdoors will appreciate the Apple Watch Ultra. The rugged titanium construction and edge protection makes it a durable option, and the enhanced GPS feature is ideal for hiking and running. Our expert called the battery life of this model "superior," and the brand claims it can last up to 36 hours (or 72 hours in low-power mode).

What you should know: You can currently save $67 on this watch on Prime Day, but the discount only applies to the watch with the Midnight Ocean band.

Why we like it: The Apple Watch Series 8 was our experts' favorite smart watch for both men and women in 2023. This model also has quick-charging and superb fitness tracking capabilities, including temperature monitoring as you sleep, blood oxygen measuring and heart rate tracking.

What you should know: The Apple Watch Series 8 may not be the newest model, but it's a still a solid pick and is the lowest price among the watches in this story.

Why we like it: In our Lab tests, we were impressed by how quickly the Apple Watch Series 9 watch charged, taking only 45 minutes to get it back up to 80 percent. This model tracks tons of health analytics like heart rate, blood oxygen, ECG, cycle tracking and sleep stages.

What you should know: This Prime Day deal is only a $37 discount, which is less than the other sales above, but it's still a great steal for one of the newest versions of the Apple Watch.
