Sports fans, you're going to want to listen up. ESPN just announced a limited-time deal that's, dare we say, almost too good to be true. If you haven't gotten dad a Father's Day gift yet, this might be the perfect last-minute present, as the promotion only lasts until June 20. If he enjoys watching NFL, MLB, UFC, NHL games and sports in general, this could be right up his alley.

The exclusive deal is for a three-month subscription of ESPN+ for $4.99. This is a 58% discount. After the three months, the plan with automatically switch back to a standard $11.99 subscription.

What's included in an ESPN+ subscription?

While ESPN is known for its sports coverage, the network also has other offerings. With a subscription, you can watch:

  • Live sports from both college and professional teams, ranging from the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, PGA, Premier League and more.
  • ESPN+ Originals, including Man in the Arena: Tom Brady, Full Court Press and the Places series with star athletes like Peyton Manning, Sue Bird and Ronda Rousey.
  • On-demand TV shows and movies, separate from their library of originals, including 30 for 30, They Call It Late Night with Jason Kelce and Yankees-Dodgers: An Uncivil War.
  • Exclusive UFC content like Fight Nights, pay-per-view events and access to their archive of popular fights.

Besides the content perks, the subscription allows users to live stream, rewind and replay media on up to three devices at a time, meaning multiple people in a household can watch at once.

How to take advantage of the deal

  • Sign up through the ESPN+ website by June 20.
  • Note that you must be 18 years or older.
  • Only new and returning subscribers are eligible.

While the $4.99 deal only lasts for three months, the subscription will last for a year and shift to the standard $11.99 plan after the three months. This deal is only available for new ESPN+ subscribers and returning subscribers who have had a subscription in the past but cancelled.

If, for whatever reason, you need to cancel your ESPN+ subscription, you will need to do so through a web browser. A subscription cannot be canceled on the ESPN app. Here's how:

  • Go to the ESPN+ website, log into your account, hover over your profile icon and click 'Account.'
  • Select 'Manage Subscription,' navigate to 'Plans & Billing.'
  • Click on 'ESPN+ (Monthly)' then select 'Cancel Subscription.'

Make sure to confirm the cancellation. It will take effect on the last day of your current billing cycle, which means you will be able to access ESPN+ content until that date.
