Actress Jennifer Aniston may be known for her dewy, seemingly poreless skin, but it turns out that The Morning Show star is just like us when it comes to battling blemishes in her day to day life. She let us in on her secret weapon against zits, that she’s been relying on “for years.”
In 2015, Jennifer shared in an interview with Elle that when she first discovers a blemish forming, she'll never pick at it, though it's something she used to do in the past. “Usually I will put some sort of a drying lotion on. Mario Badescu has a great drying lotion that I used for years and years. I had a facial there in like 1995 and I've been using it ever since.”
The spot treatment contains a combination of sulfur, salicylic acid, calamine and zinc oxide that help to exfoliate, absorb oil and soothe the skin. In order to use it, the brand suggests swirling a cotton swab on the bottom of the bottle to pick up the pink sediment, dabbing it directly onto the pimple and allowing it to dry overnight.
With over 26,300 five-star Amazon reviews, the product is also well-loved by consumers. In fact, over 1,000 shoppers purchased the drying lotion last month. Many note that the drying lotion has helped diminish the appearance of breakouts in just one night.
“I’ve been using the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion for years, and it never fails me! Anytime I feel a pimple coming up, I dab a little on before bed, and by morning it’s either gone or significantly reduced,” an Amazon reviewer raved. “Works like magic,” another commented. “It actually works! I apply nightly to my breakouts and watch them dry and go away,” another reviewer said.
Right now, the drying lotion is on sale on Amazon for 15% off. It regularly sells for $18, but is currently $15.30. We’re not sure exactly how long the sale will last, so get yours while you can.
