If the new season of Peppa Pig has been on loop in your house since it debuted on Netflix in May, then you are likely well aware that there's a new member of the family. Kids can snuggle and care for a sweet interactive Evie doll who has more than 20 different sound effects that make her seem realistic. She's got a cuddly plush body with a plastic head, and she comes with a bottle, bib, blanket, "dummy" (aka: pacifier) and a play mat with muddy puddles. The doll even mimics eating, snores and sings a lullaby. Of course, she giggles and oinks if you bounce and play with her.
The family of five set comes in under $20 and features four posable figures, with Mummy Pig wearing baby Evie in a sling. We like the handheld action figures for taking to restaurants or for car rides, and they fit with any of the other Peppa Pig playsets that you may already have at home.
The family's signature Big Red Car also got an upgrade to make room for baby. The car can be used for pretend play to reenact favorite scenes, and it has doors and a trunk (or boot) and hood (or bonnet) that open and close. This comes with Mummy Pig and baby Evie, along with a car seat and suitcase. And if you already have figures of Peppa, George and Daddy, there's room for all of them in the car.
As a special treat for the most devoted Peppa Pig fans, there's a Big Family House playset that's 2.5 feet wide when opened. There are seven rooms in the house, including separate bedrooms for the Peppa, Evie and George figures that come with the set. This playset has a lot of charming features like a refrigerator and garage door that opens and closes. It comes with 11 different accessories, including a cradle, high chair and bouncer specifically for baby Evie. The best part is all the pieces fit inside the house, and the entire thing folds up for storage when they are done playing.
