Jennifer Garner knows a thing or two about quality skincare. The actress and mother of two has been a Neutrogena brand ambassador for 15 years and often lets fans in on the skin products she’s loving, making sure to highlight the way she incorporates them into her own routine.
Most recently, Jennifer shared with Good Housekeeping the one product that she reaches for every time she washes her face: Neutrogena's Hydro Boost Hydrating Gel Cleanser. She typically likes to go in with the cleanser after she removes her makeup with makeup wipes.
"It doesn't have any scent, and it starts moisturizing as you're washing your face," Jennifer says of the face wash. The hyaluronic acid in the cleanser's formula also helps the skin to retain water and provides a soft feel and plump appearance.
The Good Housekeeping Institute Beauty Lab is also a fan of the cleanser, granting it a Beauty Award just last year. Lab results found that it reduced irritation for those with skin sensitivity.
“It fully removes makeup and SPF and leaves skin refreshingly clean yet not tight,” says Beauty Lab Director Sabina Wizemann.
Amazon reviewers have also gravitated to the product, with more than 1,900 giving it a perfect five-star rating. Several have found the face wash to be gentle and effective at cleaning their skin without drying it out.
"Definitely hydrates skin and very easy to use with its pump. This lives on my in-shower hanger! LOVE IT," an Amazon reviewer said. "If you want a product that really cleans and truly softens your skin, then the Hydro Boost by Neutrogena is worth every penny. It’s also very affordable," another person added.
The best part, the face wash is currently on sale for just under $12 (regularly $15.39), which is a nearly 25% discount.
