I’ve had a love-hate relationship with flip-flops (some might even call it a relationship that has flip-flopped a lot... sorry) throughout my life. Wore ‘em every single day when I was 12, declared that they should be burned when I was 17, and have been wooed back by the prospect of chic Y2K flip-flops in recent year. But my biggest issue with the shoe is that they usually give… nothing. Absolutely flat piece of foam with zero arch support, uncomfortable rubbing between my toes, blisters on the top of my foot, why would I wear them?

Turns out I’ve just been wearing the wrong type of flip-flop all along because truly comfortable options do exist, and I have Jennifer Aniston to thank for that intel.
