While I’ve long been obsessed with decorating and have led Good Housekeeping’s home design team for nearly five years now, I’m also a devout beauty fanatic.

So, whenever I travel, it’s no surprise that I have to take an assortment of my favorite makeup goodies and toiletries along with me.

Once you're in your hotel room, you can use the metal hook to hang the makeup bag on the back of the bathroom door and keep everything off the hotel sink. The hook swivels completely and I've found that it's held up pretty well.
Available in 10 colors, the interior folds right open to reveal transparent compartments with space for just about any type of travel-size product you need to carry on a trip. There's a spot — complete with elastic straps — to help bottles stay put while traveling. I like to place items like contact lens solution, body wash or a mini facial spray there.
The bag has a double zipper compartment, which I reserve for things like deodorant, toothpaste, hair ties, small makeup palettes — you name it. It's so great to have access to this area from both sides, since I can always grab what I need quickly. Two other zippered sections come in handy for essentials like Kleenex packets, medication, cotton pads and nail polish remover wipes. Plus, there's a small exterior pocket that I tend to use for a pack of gum or small papers that aren't valuable.
I also just love the bag's handles. On a recent family trip, I had way too many things to carry, so in a pinch, I slipped the handles over my Away carry-on luggage to breeze through the airport. It was a little tight, but surprisingly, they fit!
I can't recommend this travel makeup organizer enough. It holds a ton and looks way more expensive than it is. I've even gifted it to a friend who's an avid traveler and she's become obsessed, too. I promise you won't be disappointed!
