Checking in to watch The White Lotus this weekend? After a two-year hiatus, the hit show is making its anticipated return to Max on Sunday, February 16 at 9 p.m. ET. Catch the premiere and set the mood with this limited-edition candle from the HBO White Lotus x Nest New York collaboration (that's even on sale in a few sizes).
As someone whose favorite things in the world include prestige TV and fancy candles, I couldn't be more excited for this drop. With refreshing notes of cucumber, earthy white sage and calming lavender, the official HBO White Lotus candle is intended to transport your senses to a luxury Thai spa resort — aka the exact setting for season 3. Several shoppers describe its scent as "spa-like" and say that it fills the room without being overpowering.
To evoke season 3's tropical backdrop, the 20-ounce candle is packaged in a glass vessel and adorned with white lotus flowers and monkeys. While it's definitely on the pricey side at $98, it claims to offer a burn time of up to 100 hours — so it'll last well beyond the upcoming eight-episode season.
Hint: you can also shop Nest's original Cucumber and Sage candle (which offers the exact same scent profile as its White Lotus-branded counterpart) on sale in three different sizes. Just note that it won't have the same decorative packaging.
"Nest’s cucumber and white sage candle smells like spa — crisp, clean, and so refreshing," said one five-star reviewer. "Plus, it has impressive burn time. It lasted much longer than I expected, so the chill vibes just keep going! This candle serves as an aesthetic home decor as well."
