Remember the days of old when you would get the Sears Wish Book or Toys 'R' Us catalog in the mail, and you would be flooded with joy? We don't get many moments like that now, but there is one retailer who tries to keep that specific excitement alive. And believe it or not, that's Amazon.

Since 2018, the company has been releasing its own toy catalog that gets sent in the mail to Prime members after it announces its big Toys We Love list. Some people call it a wish book, others refer to it as a toy catalog — but the official name is the Amazon Kids Gift Book. It's usually filled with over 600 toys and gifts starting at under $10, with scannable QR codes that make for easy shopping, as well as stickers, free games, coloring pages and even a personal wish-list the kids can tear out. This year's "Share the Joy" issue even has a code to unlock a free Squishmallows character on Roblox.

The only problem? Some Amazon Prime members say it hasn't gotten sent to them — and it can be a bit tricky trying to figure out how to get your hands on a copy. If you weren't one of the lucky ones who received it in the mail this week, there is another way to get access.

How to get the 2024 Amazon toy catalog

In the past, the Amazon Kids Gift Book has dropped some time in October, although this year's started getting delivered as early as September 30, according to Krazy Coupon Lady and Reddit. It seems that Prime members receive it at random, because looking at the comments on social media, it's clear not every member has gotten one. And let's not forget, there are a ton of non-Prime members who would like a copy. And while you can't order it, a spokesperson told Good Housekeeping that you can download the digital version now, available in English and Spanish.

You can also go to the site to find catalog-specific "Hottest Toy" picks if you want to skip the booklet and get straight to shopping.
