While Simone Biles truly needs no introduction, the most decorated gymnast in Olympic history is continuing her storied career through a first-of-its-kind collab with Athleta. Dating back to summer 2021, Biles has partnered with the athleisure brand twice on kids' collections for Athleta Girl. This time around, Biles designed her first adult collection with five new pieces for women, plus two for girls and a puff belt bag.

Biles helped design each piece, from dreaming up the shiny blue hue that's reminiscent of her Olympic gymnastics leotards to the "Simone Biles x Athleta" branding. "I’m beyond excited for my limited-edition collection with Athleta," Biles told Good Housekeeping. "While we've created collections before, this is our first line for both women and girls. It has something for everyone — all in a gorgeous navy color with a subtle shine which gives a little something special."
Starting at $28, this line features pieces that are great for a range of exercises for adults and kids alike. Take the Elation 7/8 Tight, for instance. These leggings are made for low-impact workouts like yoga and include a high-waisted design for added coverage. Or, kiddos can tackle the day with the Athleta Girl All Day Half Zip Hoodie that's perfect to wear to school, practices and everything in-between. Added perk: It's made with a soft, warm material that'll keep them cozy as the seasons change.
This collection includes pieces made with Athleta’s patented Powervita fabric, which is designed with a soft, stretchy feel. The material is designed to be breathable, compressive and quick drying “for all the ways you move on and off the mat,” according to the brand. Our Good Housekeeping Institute experts have done tons of testing on this material, and Emma Seymour, associate director of GH's Textiles Lab, noted that it is “so buttery soft it might just feel like a second skin.” In other words, whether worn for a workout or as loungewear, comfort is basically a guarantee.
Biles breathed life into this collection as a member of Athleta's Power of She Collective. Athleta created this group in celebration of the game-changing contributions that women across all major sports are making in their respective fields.
