While there are plenty of fan-favorite items you probably already have on your Costco shopping list (like that iconic rotisserie chicken!), we're highlighting some of the most underrated items to buy at Costco, according to Good Housekeeping contributors and social media users. We've included some delicious treats, must-have organizers, and staples that help you get dinner on the table when you're just not up for cooking.

Eggs
As many shoppers have noted, the price of eggs has risen and fallen dramatically at various points over the last few years. At Costco, you can often get a 24-pack of eggs for less than $10, while other retailers might be charging $9 for a dozen. Luckily, eggs last for a few weeks and can be frozen if you don't get through them quickly enough.
A Reddit post about the Kirkland Signature 680 Thread Count Sheet Set called them "unbelievably underrated." Several commenters agreed, writing "totally worth it!" and "they seem to get softer and softer after each wash." The set comes with one flat sheet, one fitted sheet, and four pillowcases. It's available in sizes ranging from full to California king.
Almond Croissant Pastries
This treat has already gone viral on social media, with plenty of shoppers raving about the flaky, sugary treat you can get from Costco's bakery. Pro tip: Warm it up in the air fryer or toaster oven before enjoying it.
Trash bags may not be the most fun purchase, but they're a household necessity. We'd recommend buying yours at Costco. Not only is the price better than what you'll find at many stores, they're high-quality and won't tear when you're taking the garbage out, according to reviewers. Might as well stock up on your next Costco trip so you won't have to think about buying more for the next several months at least.

Another underrated Costco buy is paper towels. If you've got the storage space, we'd stock up on a few of these 12-packs of Kirkland Signature Paper Towels. At $24 for a 12 pack, it comes out to about $2 per roll, which is less than you'll pay at many grocery or drug stores for high-quality paper towels.
Costco's olive oil is a versatile and affordable pantry staple that you should always have on hand. "It has a lovely, deep olive flavor and a little burn at the end, just like it's supposed to do," shared one reviewer. "I used to pay four times as much for another brand, but I can discern no difference in quality between the two."
Turns out, the Kirkland Signature Lightly Breaded Chicken Breast Fillets are a perfect dupe for Chick-fil-A chicken. They make for great chicken sandwiches, but you can also use them as easy protein for salads.
