Lea Michele Shares Her Favorite Skincare and Beauty Products

Plus, the Glee alum talks Chess on Broadway and reveals her parenting essentials.

By

In the Celebrity edition of What's in My Cart, stars reveal the everyday products they're shopping — complemented by expert insights from our editors and analysts when it's something we love too.

Lea Michele is bringing her talents back to Broadway this fall for her sixth show. On starring in Chess alongside Aaron Tveit and Nicholas Christopher, the actress and singer tells Good Housekeeping: "Musically, it's something that no one has heard me do for a really long time. It definitely has more of a pop/rock musical theater sound to it. I'm excited to have that challenge vocally, to approach a different sound and a different style."

"I'm a huge fan of the show and the music. I love my co-stars, Nick and Aaron. They are so unbelievably talented and really excited to bring this piece to Broadway," Lea shares with us. "It's going to be very exciting, and I can't wait for everyone to come and see it!"

Ahead of her Broadway return, the mom-of-two is also preparing for back-to-school season. "I'm getting ready for my son to go back to school and buying his water bottles and pencils and backpack, but it's also important to remember things like Lysol Disinfecting Wipes and Disinfectant Spray to keep in our home to help prevent the spread of germs as best we can," Lea says. She's teaming up with Lysol for their Here for Healthy Schools Initiative, "to teach parents the simple ways to prevent the spread of germs approaching the school year."

The Glee alum reveals more of her parenting must-haves below, plus the skincare and beauty products she swears by on and off stage.

"When I'm working, I really love Armani Beauty when I need something a little stronger for onstage or onscreen. But for my day-to-day, I'm a huge fan of Gucci Westman Atelier."
