'The Hunting Wives' Star Brittany Snow Shares Her Self-Care Essentials
The Pitch Perfect alum showed us what's in her bag.
In the Celebrity edition of What's in My Cart, stars reveal the everyday products they're shopping β complemented by expert insights from our editors and analysts when it's something we love too.
If you've already started watching Netflix's steamy new drama The Hunting Wives, then you've seen star Brittany Snow taking on a brand-new role as Sophie. The actress couldn't reveal much when she spoke to Good Housekeeping ahead of the show's release, because "everything is a spoiler" when it comes to the twisty eight-episode series. One thing she can talk about? Her partnership with Yankee Candle, and the personal connection she has to the brand.
"I have a charity called September Letters, in which we have people write a letter to themselves or someone else. Right before you write the letter, you light a candle and sit with yourself and be present in the moment. It's just a little act of self-care that you can do to make yourself feel more connected to the now," Brittany shares. "It's already a part of my self-care routine, and something that I do to just get back to myself."
The 39-year-old admits that in her early twenties, self-care pretty much just meant drinking water. Now, she says, she has "a routine and a practice. My journey through self-care has been ever evolving. As I get older, I get more present with my self-care. Something that really helps me with that is doing things that actually make me feel good and slow me down."
Keep reading to learn more about Brittany's self-care essentials, including her favorite beauty products.
