Christie Brinkley's Favorite Beauty Product Is a $5 Drugstore Staple

There's nothing more convenient than a quality pair of denim overalls. "I love overalls. I love gardening. So I pop on my overalls and lose myself in the garden. I find that when the gardening is done, I can very easily just pop off my shirt and put something cute on under it. You can dress them up or dress them down," says Christie.

When it comes to drugstore beauty products, Christie is a strong supporter. "People shouldn't think poorly of products you can buy in the drugstore because they're often really good and affordable because of the mass volume that they can make."

She specifically loves Andrea Eye Makeup Remover Pads: "It comes in different formulas, and I like the quick formula. In my job, I have a lot of makeup. I like to get my eye makeup off before I do the rest of my face."

While displaying a beautiful collection of delicate plates or glassware is nice for certain occasions, Christie understands the importance of having a more casual set when entertaining large groups.

"I like having a stack of inexpensive plates. Things get broken around here so much, and I can't bear it. When somebody puts one of my grandma's plates in the microwave, my heart stops. So The Home Depot has some cute, basic designs in the plate section," says Christie.

Not only are mushrooms high in antioxidants, they also have mood- and memory-boosting qualities. Why not incorporate them into your morning cup of joe? "I keep Ryze in my cart at all times. It gives me good energy in the morning and great sleep at night," says Christie.

Living in the Hamptons, Christie has struggled to find summer dresses that match her lifestyle.

"You have to go through so many dresses that are strictly 'city' and just wouldn't fit out here. It's a very particular kind of dress, and I was always looking for one that you could take your shoes off and walk barefoot on the beach in and look right at home, and then put your shoes back on and stroll into any of the chic restaurants out here," says Christie.
