All the Celebrities Came Out for George Clooney's Broadway Opening Night
The legendary actor made his Broadway debut in Good Night, and Good Luck.

George Clooney is on Broadway. The legendary movie star—who’s given us hits from ER to Ocean’s Eleven, Burn After Reading, Intolerable Cruelty, and The Ides of March—is now back to his acting roots, in the theater. This Thursday, Clooney celebrated the opening night of his new show, Good Night, and Good Luck, at New York City’s Winter Garden Theater.
The Broadway play is based on the history film of the same name, which was co-directed by Clooney back in 2005. It is set in the 1950s and “centers on a clash between famed journalist Murrow and infamous U.S. Senator Joseph McCarthy, of anti-communist HUAC fame,” per Playbill.
After the show last night, Clooney’s celebrity friends and loved ones stayed around for an after-party. Of course, it was the starriest of affairs, bringing in big industry names including Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, Hugh Jackman (who starred in his own Broadway revival a couple years ago), Uma Thurman, and Jennifer Lopez.
