In the Celebrity edition of What's in My Cart, stars reveal the everyday products they're shopping — complemented by expert insights from our editors and analysts when it's something we love too.

For the last ten years, Meghan Trainor has made a name for herself as one of the biggest singers in the world. But when it comes down to it, she's just a mom who loves to be with her family.

Good Housekeeping caught up with the singer to talk about life on tour and how she balances work and family life with her husband Daryl Sabara and their sons Riley and Barry. Even though she spent the end of 2024 and part of 2025 performing for thousands of fans, she's all about making sure her loved ones are her number one priority.

"My mornings and nights since being a parent look very different now," explained the 31-year-old. "I used to sleep in and go to bed late. Now, with two young boys, we are just chasing them and trying to give them a schedule that'll make everyone happy. I also want my family to be the healthiest versions of themselves, and that comes with lifestyle changes."

Taking into consideration both her family and her career, Meghan revealed the essential products that keep them all going — whether at home or on the road.

Meghan's Secret to Simplifying Laundry

Arm & Hammer Power Sheets Laundry Detergent

Power Sheets Laundry Detergent

As a busy mom, Meghan always has these in her arsenal. She loves how easy they are to use when doing laundry for her sons Riley and Barry at home, and they also come in handy when she's on tour.

"Tossing in these sheets is a game changer," says Meghan, who's partnering with Arm & Hammer. "We do so much laundry with the kids, and these save so much time. You can pack them because they're so small, and they're great for when you need to wash clothes constantly."

Meghan's go-to laundry hack is one the Good Housekeeping Institute's Cleaning Lab can get behind. The Arm & Hammer Power Sheets earned the title of "best from a familiar brand" on our list of the best detergent sheets for removing stains, as tested by laundry experts.

Since Meghan is often out in public when performing and doing press, she is conscious about when she needs to go to the bathroom. She admits that she always has a bottle of Poo-Pourri with her.

"I swear this changed my life. I can't go to the bathroom in public without it," she shares. "We take this everywhere we go."

The Good Housekeeping Institute Cleaning Lab selected Poo-Pourri as the best odor eliminator for bathroom odors, according to testing.

"We use Boogie Wipes for the kids," she says. "They are soft and moist, and I use those like, every five seconds with my boys. How did we not have these as children?"

LMNT Zero Sugar Electrolytes Variety Pack

Zero Sugar Electrolytes Variety Pack

Because Meghan is performing so much, it's easy for her to lose energy and need a nutrient boost. Her husband introduced her to adding electrolyte packets — like these from LMNT — into her wellness routine, and now she can't live without them.

"I've always been good about drinking water, but now I don't drink water unless there are electrolytes in it," she says. "I always make sure I have them with me wherever I go."

Our registered dietitians in the Good Housekeeping Institute Nutrition and Fitness Lab chose LMNT as the best electrolyte powder for serious athletes, noting that due to its high sodium levels, "it is best for serious athletes and those who are very heavy sweaters."

What Meghan Always Takes on Tour

Snuggie Wearable Blanket

Wearable Blanket

Remember these being all the rage in the early 2000s? Meghan loves to keep a Snuggie with her on tour — and its not only because she likes to stay warm.

"I always wear a Snuggie on tour, since it's like a blanket over my body that also allowed me to feel hidden," she says.

As it turns out, our Good Housekeeping Institute experts are also big fans. The product was chosen as the best value wearable blanket, with Home & Apparel Reviews Analyst Amanda Constantine noting: "It may look a bit silly, but the Snuggie is so convenient. Most wearable blankets feel too heavy or restrictive to me, but this one is very thin and lightweight, so it doesn’t weigh me down or pull on my shoulders or neck."

While Meghan admits she isn't always in the mood to do a skincare routine, her husband Daryl Sabara is the opposite. He loves using eye patches — like these ones from Peter Thomas Roth — to help wind down at night. What's more, Meghan says they help Daryl combat a relatable parenting woe.

"He has the classic tired dad undereyes," she jokes. "He loves these — he actually wears them more than I do."

Daryl's not the only one who loves these eye patches. When tested by the Good Housekeeping Institute's Beauty Lab, they were selected as the best undereye patches for dry skin.

When Meghan's on tour, she loves to have some items with her that provide a sense of comfort. One thing she adored having with her was a silk pillowcase, so that her hair wouldn't get messed up while going from city to city.

While Meghan didn't specify her preferred brand, this 100% silk pillowcase from Promeed is a Good Housekeeping Institute pick for the best value silk pillowcase.

When Meghan is traveling in between cities, she and her family often go by tour bus. But one thing she didn't know about this mode of transportation was how dry the air would become. That's why she stocked up on humidifiers like this one, chosen by the Good Housekeeping Institute's Home Improvement and Outdoor Lab as the best value humidifier.

"My little boy would get nosebleeds all the time," she explains. "So, I bought a tiny travel humidifier on Amazon and stuck it in the bunks, because they are so dry from pumping cold air. Now we have humidifiers everywhere you look."

Ninja Nutri Pro Personal Blender

Nutri Pro Personal Blender

Meghan's husband loves to make her coffee in the morning — but his method comes with a unique twist. He makes protein coffees using a blender.

"Nowadays, it's so hard to get protein in — so we try to sneak it in everything," she says. "Daryl blends the coffee in his blender with vanilla protein powder, so all of that is in there. It's like a nice meal that makes me feel nice and full for a long time. Plus, it gives me energy."

Meghan didn't explicitly name the blender she has at home, but this Ninja blender is our pick for the best personal blender for smoothies, after testing more than 90 models.
