Fellow Travelers has officially concluded its run, and the emotional ending to the love story between Hawkins "Hawk" Fuller (Matt Bomer) and Tim Laughlin (Jonathan Bailey) has us weeping.
During its final episode, viewers witnessed the culmination of a 30-year long relationship between the two leads. Tim sadly succumbed to AIDS, with Hawk staying by his side during his final days. What's more, as Hawk overlooks the first display of the AIDS Memorial Quilt in Washington, D.C. in 1987, he finally admits that Tim was the person he loved for the majority of his life.
Yet, even after all that pain and sadness, seeing Tim and Hawk's romance unfold led many viewers longing to know more about what happened following the show's final gut-wrenching moments. With that in mind, many fans seem to be curious to know if Fellow Travelers will ever be back with a brand-new episode. We did some digging, and let's just say we're going to need another box of tissues based on what we learned.
Is a new episode of Fellow Travelers on tonight?
Unfortunately for dedicated fans, we have some sad news for you. Because Fellow Travelers is a limited series, there will not be a new episode airing on Paramount+ or Showtime.
That said, Fellow Travelers has garnered a positive reception from critics, with Rotten Tomatoes giving the show a 95% approval rating among viewers. Additionally, Variety wrote in late October that Fellow Travelers delivers " a complex, intimate, captivating and visually stunning portrait of anguish and desire."
So, while we won't know if there's a chance for more episodes in the future, it is possible to watch the story all over again.
