Erin Napier's latest update has fans commenting, "say it ain't so!" But, as hard as it is to believe, it's true—the season finale of the hit HGTV show airs tonight.
Thankfully, Erin took to Instagram to give fans a heads-up (and a preview of the new episode). After tonight, the show will be on hiatus until the winter, but that doesn't mean that Ben and Erin will be living the life of leisure until then. Instead, Erin explains, the couple works year-round making the renovation magic the viewers see over a few months.
Erin wrote, "It’s your last chance for a new Home Town until winter, so watch with us at 8/7 ct on @hgtv or @streamonmax and @discoveryplus tomorrow. (PS I love that yall think this means we are getting a break, but it mostly just means it takes a whole year to renovate all the houses you watch in 6 months, so the work never stops, the viewing just does 😄)"
Fans headed straight for the comments section to both lament the end of the season and pass along their well-wishes to Ben and Erin. One wrote, "I can’t wait! But also, season finale!🥹" and another said, "Season Finale Already 😩" Another said "Hope you will take some time for yourselves and your beautiful family. You so deserve it. You are the best renovation couple on HGTV!! Grateful for all you do to make peoples dreams come true.🙏🏼🫶🏻💖"
As for the finale, it sounds like the show is going out with a bang. Erin teased the episode: "TONIGHT it’s the season finale of Home Town, and you’re going to loooove Rose’s colorful jeweltoned retro hippie cowgirl style, even if you hate the way that contractor took her money and ran." In the clip, the homeowner explains that she hired a contractor who took off with $80,000 of her money. Ben offers a comforting message: "We're going to fix this."
Rest assured, earlier this year, Ben and Erin extended their contract with HGTV, keeping them on the network through 2027. And while we wait patiently for new episodes, we can re-watch all of the previous seasons on Max and Discovery+.
