Wicked fans, it looks we are getting ready to be changed for good.

It's been almost a year since the hit musical movie hit theaters, and fans are eager to see the sequel Wicked: For Good debut on November 21, 2025. While it's still some time before we can watch Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo and more on the big screen, the movie's social team decided that August 6 would be a good day to give folks a first look at what to expect from it.

Thanks to a sneak peek featurette on Instagram, viewers watched as Ariana and Cynthia reprise their roles as Glinda and Elphaba respectively. Amid teasers of moments expected to be seen throughout (including a snippet of Cynthia singing "No Good Deed" and the girls' duet of "For Good"), it didn't take long for folks to be enticed by this unexpected surprise.

"Step back into Oz ✨," the caption read. "Go behind-the-scenes in this Wicked: For Good first look."

Shortly after the first look at Wicked: For Good dropped online, the movie's director Jon M. Chu had to take to the comments to share his elation for the upcoming film.

"Get fkfjdickn reaaadddyyyyy!!!!!" he wrote. "It’s a wiiiillllllld riddddeeee!!!!! Nov 21st!!!"

And just like Jon, fans of Wicked couldn't contain their emotions upon seeing this thrilling new revelation of Wicked: For Good.

"I just got chills like 10 times 😭," one person reacted. "So powerful. Clicking my heels 👠 👠 so it’s November… 💚🩷 forever!" another exclaimed. "This is gonna be my personality for the next 4-8 months just so everyone knows," a different follower added.

Well, this is definitely something we're intrigued by! And even though Wicked: For Good is still months away, Cynthia previously shared what makes this movie a little different than the first one.

"[Elphaba and Glinda are] sort of in their own lives right now, figuring out," she told the Today show back in June."They do come together during this, but it it's not easy for them. They're both much more mature than they were before. They've both had a measure of life happen between now and when you've seen them last, and so they have to sort of re-navigate where they are."

Talk about a teaser we need to know more about!
