• Actor Oliver Stark stars in the ABC procedural drama 9-1-1.
  • The actor was seen in Nashville, hinting at a crossover episode between 9-1-1 and the upcoming spinoff series 9-1-1: Nashville.
  • Season 9 of 9-1-1 and the premiere of 9-1-1: Nashville are both set to air on October 9, 2025 on ABC.

Is there a chance we'll see some members of 9-1-1 venture to the Music City for the show's latest spinoff? If Oliver Stark has anything to tease, it appears so!

Season 9 of the ABC procedural drama is premiering on October 9, 2025, but fans are also eager to see the premiere of the 9-1-1: Nashville spinoff. While the upcoming series is set to welcome a brand-new cast to the hit franchise, it seems like there is a very good chance Oliver (who plays Evan "Buck" Buckley on 9-1-1) may be heading down south for a potential crossover moment between the 118 and Nashville's 113.

As Oliver posted on his Instagram story (via TV Insider) on August 3, folks could see him getting in a workout on the streets of Nashville. And if that's not enough, he seemingly teased that there's a chance he'll be on two 9-1-1 TV shows this upcoming fall.

"6 Nashville Miles for breakfast 😈," he wrote over the video.

Even though nothing is for sure, it would definitely pique our interests to see Oliver appear on 9-1-1: Nashville! And let's not forget — 9-1-1 stars have been known to pop up on other series in the franchise. For those who remember, Oliver (as Buck) and other cast members went down to Austin, Texas to fight wildfires in a season 2 episode of the now-defunct 9-1-1: Lone Star (which ended after five seasons in February 2025).

Now, is this the only TV series members of the 9-1-1 crew could appear in during ABC's 2025-2026 TV season? As Jennifer Love Hewitt (who plays Buck's sister Maddie Buckley Han) stated during a June interview with Awards Buzz, she has some ideas of what other show the 118 can pop up on.

"I am obsessed with the show High Potential," she told the outlet at the time. "[Kaitlin Olson's character Morgan] is always referencing — they’re in L.A. — and she’s always referencing dispatch. And I’m like, 'She has got to come to the dispatch center, or I have to go to her. Or, I feel like we could do both.'"

Fingers crossed we see all of these crossovers happen very soon!
