- The Good Witch TV series aired on the Hallmark for seven seasons, with the final episode airing in 2021.
- Stars Catherine Bell and James Denton reunited at the Tampa Bay Comic and Pop Culture Convention the weekend of August 1.
- The two have also starred in two holiday movies for Hallmark in 2023 and 2024.
Guess what, Good Witch fans? Catherine Bell just shared exciting reunion news!
Fans of the Hallmark series remember Catherine for playing Cassie Nightingale over the course of three Good Witch movies and a TV series of the same name. While the last time folks got to see her in the role was back in 2021, she has giving viewers plenty of chances to see her in other Hallmark projects alongside her former co-star, James Denton (who portrayed Dr. Sam Radford).
So when the duo attended the Tampa Bay Comic and Pop Culture Convention from August 1-3 in Tampa, Florida, Catherine couldn't help but share the thrilling reunion with her fans on Instagram. "This guy …. ! 🥰 #GoodWitch #CassieandSam @hallmarkchannel," she wrote in the caption.
When fans noticed Catherine and James got together for an exciting event, many were thrilled to see them reunite.
"Sam and Cassie forever," one person wrote. "My favorite couple," another said. "OMG," someone else simply wrote.
But this also sparked some folks to ask for more from the Good Witch franchise, too.
"I’d love a new Good Witch Halloween movie with updates on the characters. ❤️," one person wrote in the comments. "BRING BACK THE GOOD WITCH and the whole gang!!! We miss you," another implored. "Best show ever!!! Wish they’d consider a reboot!!!!" a different follower added.
While it's unclear if Hallmark ever plans to do something with the Good Witch franchise, we do love the fact the network continues to bring Catherine and James together for other projects. The duo starred in two holiday movies over the years — 2023's Christmas on Cherry Lane and its 2024 sequel Happy Holidays from Cherry Lane. And when the cast previously came together for another convention in December 2024, there was an expressed interest about heading back to Middleton once again.
"I really miss doing the show. I miss it," Catherine said during the 2024 Christmas Con at the time, per People. "I miss the character. I miss the magic. I think we all were a bit surprised when it ended because we didn't get the ending we would've wanted ... We have not given up trying to get a movie made."
"Just tell us where to be," James added. "We all want to do it. Just set it up and we'll show up. We're hoping."
Fingers crossed this occurs very soon!
