Alison Sweeney is soaking in time with a special person in her life, and she's doing it while enjoying an activity she loves.

The Hallmark star has been super busy this summer, with plenty of projects being dropped on the network back in June. However, Alison is also making sure to spend time with her teenage daughter, Megan, whom she shares with her husband, Dave Sanov (the couple also shares a son, Benjamin). As she shared in a rare family update on July 12, she and Megan decided to take a ride on horses and spend time together. As a result, Alison wanted to make sure people knew how special it was to have some one-on-one time with her only daughter.

"Perfect day for a mother/daughter trail ride. 🐴 ❤️," she affectionately wrote in the caption on Instagram.

Given that Alison doesn't often share private moments with her kids on social media, seeing this mother-daughter bonding moment had fans rushing to the comments with their words of affection.

"Special moments! Cherish those times they grow up fast! ❤️," one person wrote in the comments. "Everyday and any day this looks like perfection. So happy for both or you. 💖," another declared. "Making memories! 💖 Look like sisters!" a different follower added.

We so love to see Alison enjoying the time off and being with those who mean a lot to her! And as some may already know, she's allowing her kids to be part of her professional world in some unique ways. As she told People back in 2023, Benjamin actually got the chance to work with her on the Hallmark film A Zest for Death: A Hannah Swensen Mystery.

"With every experience, I hope my kids take away more confidence in themselves to thrive in any dynamic and a greater understanding of the hard work that goes into every job," she stated at the time. "I always love having my kids with me at work and when they better understand the roles of crew, it makes the time even more interesting and fun for them."

Here's to seeing more from Alison and her family in the future!
