It's time to mark your calendars, The Voice fans, because season 28 is coming sooner than you think!

Ever since the NBC competition series ended its last season back in May 2025, viewers have been desperate to see a new installment come back to their TV screens. Well, the network decided to deliver a little gift to The Voice followers on July 28, when they gave a surprise insight about the premiere of the upcoming season this fall.

Thanks to a behind-the-scenes Instagram video, folks learned coaches Niall Horan, Reba McEntire, Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé are all back on set to film the blind audition portion of The Voice season 28. Plus, fans also learned that The Voice season 28 will premiere on Monday, September 22, 2025 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.

"Niall Horan, Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire, and Michael Bublé are BACK at the push of a button," the caption read alongside the snippet. "#TheVoice premieres Sept. 22 8/7c."

Given how fans have been on the edge of the seats waiting for this piece of Voice news, learning about the season 28 release date left them ecstatic for what's to come.

"Love this lineup of coaches 🙌," one person wrote in the comments. "Omg this is going to be fun to watch!!!" another exclaimed. "Cannot wait for THE VOICE premiere," a different follower added.

"Niall Horan has entered the chat," one caption read for a July 13 Instagram video of Niall walking from backstage to his own red chair next to Reba and Michael.

Even though there aren't many clues about what fans can expect from The Voice season 28 just yet, this is certainly something to get excited about! And what's more, the show has continually shown sneak peeks of the coaches while they sit in their iconic red chairs to choose potential contestants for the new season.
