When Craig Melvin is not on TV, he's soaking in all the family time he can get!

The Today show star is famous for being on the air five days a week, with many tuning in to see what news he has to relay for the day. But even TV reporters have to take some time off from working, as Craig did when he went on a summer vacation to South Carolina with his wife Lindsay Czarniak, their son Delano and daughter Sybil. And while he primarily stayed quiet on social media (other than one Instagram post), it was Lindsay who decided to give all the details behind the fun family getaway.

As Lindsay shared on Instagram on July 28, the Melvin family soaked up all the fun in the sun as they explored the wildlife on the beach. While enjoying their time in the ocean and seeing sea turtles make their way to the water, Lindsay had to express how special it was for the quartet to be together.

"Some beach memories and time spent in the low country ... wildlife, family," she wrote in the caption. "Thank you South Carolina!"

When fans got to see Craig's rare family update (by way of Lindsay), people couldn't get enough of how adorable everyone was on their vacation.

"BEAUTIFUL FAMILY BEAUTIFUL FAMILY 😍 🀩 😍 🀩," one person shouted in the comments. "Making wonderful family memories! 😎," another agreed. "Enjoy! Looks beautiful in the 🌞 sun!" a different follower added.

Needless to say, we love to see when Craig and Lindsay share sweet moments with their family. And despite Craig being busy working on the Today show, he always makes sure he has time to be there for his loved ones.

"When I wake up in the morning, part of the reason I work so hard is for you and your sister," Craig told Delano as the latter interviewed his dad on Today in May 2024. "Part of my motivation is to make the two of you proud. It's funny because before you two came along I was kind of beep bopping through life and then all of a sudden, I'm trying to be a good example."

We love this for the entire Melvin family!
