• When Calls the Heart star Erin Krakow will star in a new holiday movie for Hallmark in 2025.
  • Called Christmas Above the Clouds, Erin will work alongside fellow Hallmark star Tyler Hynes.
  • Erin and Tyler were last on screen together in the 2021 holiday movie It Was Always You.

Erin Krakow is trading When Calls the Heart for something a little more festive this holiday season.

The actress is in the middle of shooting season 13 of the hit Hallmark series, but it looks like she's also gearing up for a project that's special for Christmas. Thanks to an announcement revealed on July 24, Erin is working with actor Tyler Hynes to star in a new movie for Hallmark's annual "Countdown to Christmas" event later this year. Titled Christmas Above the Clouds, the film will reunite Erin and Tyler four years after they starred together in the 2021 Hallmark film It Was Always You.

Despite Hallmark not yet being able to share a sneak peek, Tyler and Erin shared a behind-the-scenes Instagram video of them seemingly on set for the new project.

"Hey …🎄. E + T ☁️. @hallmarkchannel," the caption read alongside the clip.

As soon as folks realized Erin and Tyler were working together on another holiday movie, they immediately went into a frenzy about it in the comments.

"YES!!!!!! BEST POST OF TODAY! 🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️ @tyler_hynes @erinkrakow The absolute best!!! 🔥😍," one person wrote in the comments. "Stopppp! Realllyyy? 😍," another exclaimed. "Two of my favorites! Looking forward to your movie! ❤️❤️," a different follower added.

This is truly igniting our holiday spirit, and we can't wait for this movie to come out!

As for what Christmas Above the Clouds will be about, Hallmark's website writes the movie will follow a workaholic CEO as she tries to skip Christmas via a long trip to Australia. While on the flight, she'll encounter moments from the past, present and future that'll shape how she looks at the choices she's made thus far in life. Throw in some magical spirits and a surprise reunion with her ex, and she may have just find both Christmas magic and love once again.

We'll certainly be keeping an eye out for updates on when Erin's new movie will premiere. We don't know about you, but we're always ready to enjoy the most wonderful time of year a bit early!
