When you’re related to Grace Kelly, the pool of fashion inspiration is endless—and no one knows this better than influencer and activist Camille Gottlieb.

Over the weekend, the granddaughter of the Oscar-winning actress-turned-princess attended the Monaco Red Cross Gala, where she wore a gown modeled after the one of Kelly’s looks in Rear Window (1954).

Gottlieb showed off the design on Instagram, writing (translated from French): “Thanks to @elisabettafranchi, I was able to pay tribute to my grandmother with this beautiful dress 😍.”

The elegant ball gown featured a navy, off-the-shoulder bodice with a pleated portrait neckline, and a skirt composed of thick layers of white tulle. While quite similar to Kelly’s Edith Head design, the Elisabetta Franchi piece was given a few 21st century touches thanks to a high slit up the leg and some silver, featherlike gems that snaked down the torso.

To complete the look, the 27-year-old added a few accessories fit for a royal, including a diamond princess necklace with a large center pendant, as well as teardrop earrings and a dazzling ring to match. Typically, Gottlieb wears her hair down, but for the elegant evening, she instead chose a shoulder-length bun that emulated her grandmother’s hairstyle.

Gottlieb is the daughter of Princess Stéphanie of Monaco and Jean Raymond Gottlieb, the former of which was the youngest child of Princess Grace and Prince Rainier III.

Although she does not have a royal title, Gottlieb has used her platform for advocacy, championing charities like Be Safe Monaco, which fights against drunk driving, and SPA, a society for the protection of animals.
